  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to elections; appropriating money to 
  1.3             facilitate reassignment of voter registrations 
  1.4             following redistricting. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [VOTER REGISTRATION SYSTEM; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated to the secretary of state to make 
  1.8   necessary changes to the statewide voter registration system to 
  1.9   facilitate reassignment of voters to the correct precinct and 
  1.10  election districts following legislative redistricting in 2002.  
  1.11  This appropriation is available until June 30, 2000.
