  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money. 
  1.3   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.4      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.5      $500,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 1999 from the 
  1.6   general fund to the board of water and soil resources for a 
  1.7   grant to the Faribault county soil and water conservation 
  1.8   district for the quad-lakes restoration project in Faribault and 
  1.9   Blue Earth counties.
