  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $288,000 is appropriated from the general fund for transfer 
  1.7   to the housing development fund for the mental illness crisis 
  1.8   housing assistance account for the biennium ending June 30, 1999.
  1.9      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.10     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
