Introduction - 80th Legislature, 1997 2nd Special Session

  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money to 
  1.3             independent school district Nos. 727, Big Lake, and 
  1.4             882, Monticello, for storm damage. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [BIG LAKE.] $....... is appropriated in 
  1.8   fiscal year 1998 from the general fund to the commissioner of 
  1.9   children, families, and learning for a grant to independent 
  1.10  school district No. 727, Big Lake, for damages incurred as a 
  1.11  result of the July 1, 1997, severe wind and rainstorm. 
  1.12     Subd. 2.  [MONTICELLO.] $131,000 is appropriated in fiscal 
  1.13  year 1998 from the general fund to the commissioner of children, 
  1.14  families, and learning for a grant to independent school 
  1.15  district No. 882, Monticello, for damages incurred as a result 
  1.16  of the July 1, 1997, severe wind and rainstorm. 
  1.17     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.18     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
