  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $2,500,000 is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 
  1.7   30, 1998, and $2,500,000 is appropriated for the fiscal year 
  1.8   ending June 30, 1999, to the commissioner of public safety from 
  1.9   the general fund for weed and seed grants under Minnesota 
  1.10  Statutes, section 299A.63.
