  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             or natural wetlands in Hennepin county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; HENNEPIN 
  1.7   COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45, 
  1.9   103F.535, and 282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale 
  1.10  provision of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Hennepin county 
  1.11  may convey to the city of Eden Prairie, without consideration, 
  1.12  the tax-forfeited land bordering public water or natural 
  1.13  wetlands described in paragraph (c). 
  1.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.15  attorney general and must provide that the land reverts to the 
  1.16  state of Minnesota if it is not used for park and open space 
  1.17  purposes. 
  1.18     (c) The land that may be conveyed is located in Hennepin 
  1.19  county and is described as:  Outlot A, Glenshire Addition, 
  1.20  embraced within the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, 
  1.21  Township 116N, Range 22W, according to the plat on file in the 
  1.22  office of the Hennepin county recorder. 
  1.23     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.24  the city of Eden Prairie for park and open space purposes. 
  1.25     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.1      Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
