  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; requiring any surplus from 
  1.3             an ICF/MR closure to go to employees.  
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [ICF/MR CLOSURE SURPLUS.] 
  1.6      The commissioner of human services must pay any surplus 
  1.7   from the closure rate that exists upon closure of an 
  1.8   intermediate care facility for the mentally retarded (ICF/MR) 
  1.9   located in Hennepin county scheduled to close by March 31, 1998, 
  1.10  to the employees of the facility in the form of bonuses.
