  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; providing for a fund transfer 
  1.3             for independent school district No. 763, Medford. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER; MEDFORD.] 
  1.6      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 121.912 and 
  1.7   121.9121, independent school district No. 763, Medford, may 
  1.8   permanently transfer up to a total of $200,000 by June 30, 1998, 
  1.9   from reserve accounts in the general fund to the unreserved 
  1.10  general fund.  The transfers may be made from either the bus 
  1.11  purchase account or from the reserve for operating capital 
  1.12  account.  Transfers from the bus purchase account may be made 
  1.13  without making a levy reduction.
