  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [BUILDING CODE AND STANDARDS DIVISION 
  1.6   TRANSFER.] 
  1.7      The responsibilities of the building code and standards 
  1.8   division of the department of administration are transferred to 
  1.9   the department of public safety under Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.10  section 15.039.  The transferred division shall be a separate 
  1.11  division of the department of public safety.
