  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to economic development; requiring the 
  1.3             commissioner of trade and economic development to 
  1.4             designate Koochiching county as an enterprise zone. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [DESIGNATION OF KOOCHICHING COUNTY AS AN 
  1.7   ENTERPRISE ZONE.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding the limitation in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.9   section 469.167, subdivision 3, the commissioner of trade and 
  1.10  economic development shall designate Koochiching county as an 
  1.11  enterprise zone under Minnesota Statutes, sections 469.166 to 
  1.12  469.173.
