  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to economic security; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the YOUTHBUILD program. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $14,600,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal 
  1.7   year 1997 to the commissioner of economic security for the 
  1.8   Minnesota YOUTHBUILD program.  The YOUTHBUILD program funded 
  1.9   under this section, as authorized in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.10  sections 268.361 to 268.367, qualifies as an approved training 
  1.11  program under Minnesota Rules, part 5200.0930, subpart 1.
