  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to occupations and professions; board of 
  1.3             medical practice; reinstating certain advisory 
  1.4             councils. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [REINSTATEMENT OF ADVISORY COUNCILS.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Laws 1993, chapter 286, section 1, and Laws 
  1.8   1993, chapter 337, section 1, the physical therapy council 
  1.9   established in Minnesota Statutes, section 148.67, and the 
  1.10  physician assistant advisory council and the respiratory care 
  1.11  practitioners' advisory council established under Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, section 214.13, subdivision 4, are reinstated.  These 
  1.13  groups are subject to the expiration date in Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.14  section 15.059, subdivision 5. 
  1.15     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.16     Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
