  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; permitting use of 
  1.3             appropriation to relocate athletic fields and 
  1.4             facilities at Brainerd Technical College; amending 
  1.5             Laws 1992, chapter 558, section 2, subdivision 3. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Laws 1992, chapter 558, section 2, subdivision 
  1.8   3, is amended to read: 
  1.9   Subd. 3.  Brainerd Technical College                 1,200,000
  1.10  This appropriation is for working 
  1.11  drawings for the joint campus with 
  1.12  Brainerd Community College.  The 
  1.13  technical college board must consult 
  1.14  with the community college board 
  1.15  throughout the project. 
  1.16  This appropriation may not be used to 
  1.17  relocate or replace athletic fields or 
  1.18  facilities.  Costs associated with this 
  1.19  relocation or replacement must be paid 
  1.20  from local money. 
  1.21  The state board of technical colleges 
  1.22  may sell the current Brainerd Technical 
  1.23  College site to independent school 
  1.24  district No. 181, Brainerd, for the 
  1.25  appraised value of the property. 
  1.26     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.27     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
