  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; LEIF ERIKSON STATUE.] 
  1.6      $35,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of administration to clean, refit, and rehabilitate 
  1.8   the statue of Leif Erikson on the grounds of the state capitol.
