ALJ Order on Review of Rules

The Office of Administrative Hearings conducts a legal review of all rules. The agency may not go forward to adopt a rule that contains a defect identified by the administrative law judge conducting the review. The chief administrative law judge approves the administrative law judge's determination. Each type of rulemaking provides the procedure for how the administrative law judge conducts this legal review.
