Filed With the Secretary Of State

The Office of Administrative Hearings files each adopted rule in the Office of the Secretary of State after the rule has been approved by the Office of the Revisor of Statutes and the Office of Administrative Hearings. The filed document shows the approval of the revisor and the Office of Administrative Hearings, as well as the date when the rule was filed with the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State keeps the rule in its permanent collection of filed rules. The rule's text as filed with the Secretary of State is the best evidence of the rule's text in cases where there are material inconsistencies between this text and the text of the rule as published in the State Register or Minnesota Rules. Adopted exempt rules may also be filed with the Secretary of State.
