A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; redesignating certain districts of the Mississippi River
Corridor Critical Area in St. Paul Park.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MISSISSIPPI RIVER CORRIDOR CRITICAL AREA; ST. PAUL PARK.

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Rules, chapter 6106, the following area in the city of St.
Paul Park that is currently designated as a rural and open space district (CA-ROS) is
redesignated as a river neighborhood district (CA-RN): those parts of Sections 12, 13, and
24, Township 27 North, Range 22 West, lying West of 3rd Street and County Road 75.

new text begin (b) The commissioner of natural resources must amend the map maintained under
Minnesota Rules, part 6106.0100, subpart 9, to reflect the redesignation under paragraph
(a). The map amendment is exempt from the rulemaking requirements of Minnesota Statutes,
chapter 14, and Minnesota Statutes, section 14.386, does not apply.

city of St. Paul Park and its chief clerical officer comply with the requirements of Minnesota
Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
