A bill for an act
relating to retirement; providing for an actuarial estimate of a change in
retirement coverage for sentence-to-service crew leaders; appropriating money.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ACTUARIAL ESTIMATE OF INCLUDING
SENTENCE-TO-SERVICE EMPLOYEES IN MSRS-CORRECTIONAL
RETIREMENT PLAN.

new text begin $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the executive director of the
Minnesota State Retirement System to reimburse the system for the cost of having
the consulting actuary retained under Minnesota Statutes, section 356.214, prepare an
actuarial cost estimate of including sentence-to-service crew leaders in the correctional
state employees retirement plan of the Minnesota State Retirement System.
