A bill for an act
relating to counties; providing for a rate increase
determination for a St. Louis County nursing facility;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.431, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 256B.431, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin St. louis county nursing facility rate
determination. new text end

new text begin Following the determination under subdivision 28
of the payment rate for the rate year beginning July 1, 2005,
for a facility in St. Louis County licensed for 205 beds, the
facility's operating cost per diem shall be increased by $10.

Sec. 2. new text begin EFFECTIVE DATE.
