A bill for an act
 relating to local government; allowing a county board to appropriate money for a
veterans memorial anywhere in the county; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016,
section 375.18, subdivision 10.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 375.18, subdivision 10, is amended to read:


Subd. 10.

Veterans memorial.

Each county board may appropriate funds to erect or
aid in erecting a monument or other memorial to the soldiers and sailors of the nation to be
constructed deleted text begin on the courthouse square, or in a public park at the county seat, or in a cemetery
