relating to occupational licensing; voiding all occupational licensing; instructing
the revisor to prepare legislation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Effective on August 1, 2021, the state must not enforce any statute, session law, or
administrative rule that relates to an occupational licensing requirement. This section applies
to any occupational license issued by a state agency or board.

The revisor of statutes shall prepare legislation for the 2022 legislative session that
amends Minnesota Statutes and Laws of Minnesota to effectuate the intent of section 1.
