84.162 POWERS OF COMMISSIONER; FLOWAGE RIGHTS.
The commissioner of natural resources is hereby authorized to enter into contracts and
agreements with the United States and any authorized agency thereof for the use by the state of
any flowage rights and other interests in land held by the United States needed for the flowage
of land for this project and the commissioner of natural resources may acquire such property in
fee and may further contract and cooperate with the United States for the operation and control
of the levels of said water and the construction and maintenance of any of the structures needed
therefor upon such terms and conditions as the commissioner may deem necessary and proper
not otherwise inconsistent with law.
