     221.051 Regular route passenger carriers. 

    Subdivision 1.    Abandonment or discontinuance of 
 service.  No regular route common carrier of passengers or 
 class I carrier may abandon or discontinue any service required 
 under its certificate without an order of the board therefor, 
 except in cases of emergency or conditions beyond its control. 

    Subd. 2.    Incidental charter authority.  
 Notwithstanding any other law, a regular route common carrier of 
 passengers that was granted incidental charter operating 
 authority by the board before August 1, 1993, may continue to 
 exercise that authority.
