E Increasing the maximum 911 emergency telephone service fee to + eliminate a
deficit and to defray the cost of operating public safety answering +points
under the regionwide public safety radio communication system and +increasing
the amount of the enhanced fee to be distributed to counties and +cities;
expanding the first phase of the communications system to Dakota +county;
increasing the membership of the metropolitan radio board; requiring +the board
to request the metropolitan council to issue revenue bonds to finance+ the
system in lieu of the public safety radio system planning committee +and
increasing the bonding authority of the council; appropriating money +to the
commissioner of public safety for public safety answering points and +for grants
to the emergency medical services (EMS) regulatory board for the +metro east and
metro west medical resource communication centers; repealing the +expiration of
the metropolitan radio board(ra, ja)
