relating to environment; appropriating money for River Watch program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY RIVER WATCH; APPROPRIATION.

$100,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a grant to the Friends of the Minnesota Valley to continue and
expand the existing water quality and watershed monitoring river watch activities in schools
in the Minnesota River Valley. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June
30, 2025.
