A bill for an act
relating to education; appropriating money to provide a grant to the Center for
the Arts in South Washington County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

$2,500,000 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the
commissioner of education in fiscal year 2010 for a grant to Independent School District
No. 833, South Washington County, to predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip the
Center for the Arts. The appropriation is available until expended.
