relating to Big Stone County; authorizing the county board to assign certain duties to the county treasurer.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin In addition to the duties authorized for assignments to the county treasurer under Minnesota Statutes, section 375A.121, with the concurrence of the county auditor and treasurer, the county board of Big Stone County may by resolution assign to the county treasurer all duties relating to delinquent real property taxes under Minnesota Statutes, chapters 279 to 282, including duties related to the forfeiture of real property for nonpayment of those taxes. All other provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section 375A.121 apply to an assignment of duties under this section. new text end
