An act

relating to local government; modifying the business hours of county license bureaus;

amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 373.38.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 373.38, is amended to read:

373.38 BUSINESS HOURS.

County license bureaus shall maintain hours to best serve the public. They shall be open to the public deleted text begin each weekdeleted text end for at least deleted text begin three hours one evening after 5:00 p.m. or on Saturdaydeleted text end new text begin 40 hours each weeknew text end .
