An act

relating to local government; allowing meetings and events after 6:00 p.m. on March 4, 2008.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS AFTER 6:00 P.M. ON MARCH 4, 2008.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 202A.14 and 202A.19, and because the major political parties' caucus was held on February 5, 2008, a public entity covered by Minnesota Statutes, section 202A.19, may hold a meeting or event after 6:00 p.m. on March 4, 2008.

EFFECTIVE DATE.

This section is effective March 1, 2008.
