  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the city of Edina; authorizing the city to 
  1.3             impose additional restrictions on the recreational use 
  1.4             of recreational motor vehicles on certain property; 
  1.5             amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 84.90, by 
  1.6             adding a subdivision. 
  1.7   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.8      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 84.90, is 
  1.9   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.10     Subd. 6a.  [CITY OF EDINA.] The city of Edina may impose 
  1.11  restrictions or prohibitions on the recreational use of 
  1.12  recreational motor vehicles on property owned by the operator if 
  1.13  the property is three or fewer acres in area. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following its final 
  1.16  enactment.
