Modifying certain provisions relating to the office of administrative+ hearings;
restricting administrative law and workers compensation judges to the+ areas of
original appointment, excepting the chief and deputy chief +administrative law
judges under certain conditions; requiring and providing for +allocation of the
salaries and expenses for the judges and clerical and professional +staff to the
respective divisions; authorizing the establishment of reasonable +goals for the
office of administrative hearings relating to the conduct of +conferences and
hearings, specifying certain required goals relating to hearing time +limits,
requiring the chief administrative law judge to annually report to +the
legislature on the ability to meet the timeline goals; restricting +the
authority of the chief administrative law judge to appoint temporary +workers
compensation judges; increasing the minimum number of workers +compensation
judges required in the Duluth office; regulating certain workers +compensation
hearing procedures; appropriating money to the administrative +hearings office
