Relating to public safety; providing for criminal and juvenile justice
information task force representation on the criminal and juvenile justice
information policy group; changing the term program manager to executive
director, requiring service at the pleasure of the group in the unclassified
service; expanding policy group CriMNet project generally accepted project
management techniques use requirements to education and training; modifying the
membership and duties of the task force; requiring the policy group with the
assistance of the task force to file annual reports with the governor, supreme
court and the legislature, specifying certain report content requirements;
modifying certain policy group funding and grant requests review and approval
requirements; repealing certain policy group duties relating to the
implementation of a continuing education program, recommendations for a
structured numbering scheme for the criminal code and development and
implementation of an integration plan
