2E Conforming state law to federal stimulus funding requirements, modifying
unemployment insurance base period definition by adding primary and secondary
base periods and allowing an alternate base period, defining immediate family
member; modifying the definition of reemployment assistance training and
available suitable employment; modifying certain suitable employment
determination provisions, allowing employers to provide wage detail information
for benefit accounts on applicants within a certain period of time for
applicants using alternate base period and for wage details not yet required,
specifying benefit account requirements for primary base and secondary base
periods, expanding conditions for unemployment insurance benefit eligibility to
include persons quitting employment due to necessary care of an immediate family
member illness, injury, or disability, expanding the definition of domestic
abuse to include applicants quitting for relocation purposes in order to
accompany a spouse under certain conditions; modifying and clarifying the
definition of employment misconduct; appropriating federal money under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment act to the commissioner of employment and
economic development (DEED) for unemployment insurance administration costs;
specifying certain federal conformity requirements
