A bill for an act
 relating to corrections; appropriating money for compensation for the death of
Officer Joseph Gomm.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS; APPROPRIATION.

$3,000,000 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of corrections for full and final payment to the estate of Officer Joseph Gomm as
compensation for his death. This appropriation is available until June 30, 2022.
