relating to health; appropriating money for a grant to a nonprofit community clinic.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin COMMUNITY CLINIC EQUIPMENT GRANT.

new text begin The commissioner of health shall award a grant to a nonprofit community clinic
located in Mankato for the purpose of purchasing a radiographic system to be used
at the clinic. The grantee must partner with an academic institution to ensure student
clinical educational opportunities in family practice at the clinic will be expanded with the
addition of the x-ray equipment.

Sec. 2. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $155,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of health for a grant to a nonprofit community clinic located in Mankato.
This is a onetime appropriation.
