A bill for an act
relating to transportation; highways; removing or altering routes on the
trunk highway system; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.115,
subdivision 118.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.115, subdivision 118, is amended to
read:


Subd. 118.

Route No. 187.

Beginning at a point on Route No. 18 at or near
Elk River, thence extending in a southerly direction to a point on new text begin Route No. 392; then
beginning again at a point near Route No. 121 at the north limit of Carver County, thence
continuing southerly to a point on Route No. 121; then beginning again at a point near
Route No. 260 in Carver County, thence continuing southerly to the south limit of Carver
County; then beginning again at a point on Route No. 5 at or near Shakopee, thence
continuing easterly to a point on

new text begin (a) Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.115, subdivision 221, is repealed effective
the day after the commissioner of transportation receives a copy of the agreement between
the commissioner and the chair of the county board of Cass County to transfer jurisdiction
of Legislative Route No. 290 and notifies the revisor of statutes under paragraph (b).

new text begin (b) The revisor of statutes shall delete the route identified in paragraph (a) from
Minnesota Statutes when the commissioner of transportation sends notice to the revisor in
writing that the conditions required to transfer the route are satisfied.

new text begin (a) Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.115, subdivision 224, is repealed effective
the day after the commissioner of transportation receives a copy of the agreement between
the commissioner and the governing body of the city of Cambridge to transfer jurisdiction
of Legislative Route No. 293 and notifies the revisor of statutes under paragraph (b).
