relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Gateway Corridor
Transitway.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin GATEWAY CORRIDOR TRANSITWAY.

new text begin $3,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Metropolitan Council for a
grant to Washington County for environmental analysis, design, and engineering for the
Gateway Corridor Transitway, also known as the Metro Gold Line. This appropriation
is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
