  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing postsecondary 
  1.3             enrollment options courses to be taught at nonpublic 
  1.4             schools; amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 
  1.5             124D.09, subdivision 10. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 124D.09, 
  1.8   subdivision 10, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 10.  [COURSES ACCORDING TO AGREEMENTS.] An eligible 
  1.10  pupil, according to subdivision 4, may enroll in a nonsectarian 
  1.11  course taught by a secondary teacher or a post-secondary faculty 
  1.12  member and offered at a public or nonpublic secondary school, or 
  1.13  another location, according to an agreement between a public or 
  1.14  nonpublic school board and the governing body of an eligible 
  1.15  public post-secondary system or an eligible private 
  1.16  post-secondary institution, as defined in subdivision 3.  All 
  1.17  provisions of this section shall apply to a pupil, public or 
  1.18  nonpublic school board, district, and the governing body of a 
  1.19  post-secondary institution, except as otherwise provided.
