relating to redistricting; adjusting the district boundaries of Senate Districts 15
and 16; adjusting the house of representatives district boundaries within Senate
Districts 15, 16, and 58; adjusting the district boundaries of Congressional Districts
7 and 8; repealing obsolete district boundary adjustments; proposing coding for
new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 2; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2020,
sections 2.395; 2.495.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Notwithstanding the order of the Minnesota Special
Redistricting Panel in Wattson v. Simon, Nos. A21-0243, A21-0546 (February 15, 2022),
Senate District 15 consists of the district as described in that order, with the modification
contained in file L15A-1, on file with the Geographic Information Systems Office of the
Legislative Coordinating Commission and published on its website on April 27, 2022.

Notwithstanding the order of the Minnesota
Special Redistricting Panel in Wattson v. Simon, Nos. A21-0243, A21-0546 (February 15,
2022), Senate District 15 is divided into two house of representatives districts as follows:

This act is effective for the state primary and state general elections conducted in 2022
for terms of office beginning on the first Monday in January of 2023, and for all elections
held thereafter. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, if a boundary adjustment contained
in this act requires a county, city, or town to reestablish a precinct boundary to conform to
the adjustment, the affected county, city, or town must reestablish the necessary precincts
as soon as practicable, but in no case later than June 17, 2022.

Senate District 39 consists of that district as described in the order of the Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel in Hippert v. Ritchie, No. A11-152 (February 21, 2012).
Notwithstanding the order of the Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel in Hippert v. Ritchie, No. A11-152 (February 21, 2012), Senate District 39, as described in that order, is divided into two house of representatives districts as follows:
(a) House of Representatives District 39A consists of the district as described in that order, with the modification contained in file L39A-1, on file with the Geographic Information Systems Office of the Legislative Coordinating Commission and published on its website on March 9, 2012.
(b) House of Representatives District 39B consists of that district as described in that order, with the modification contained in file L39B-1, on file with the Geographic Information Systems Office of the Legislative Coordinating Commission and published on its website on March 9, 2012.
Senate District 49 consists of that district as described in the order of the Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel in Hippert v. Ritchie, No. A11-152 (February 21, 2012).
Notwithstanding the order of the Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel in Hippert v. Ritchie, No. A11-152 (February 21, 2012), Senate District 49 is divided into two house of representatives districts as follows:
(a) House of Representatives District 49A consists of the district as described in that order, with the modification contained in file L49A-2, on file with the Geographic Information Systems Office of the Legislative Coordinating Commission and published on its website on March 28, 2012.
(b) House of Representatives District 49B consists of the district as described in that order, with the modification contained in file L49B-2, on file with the Geographic Information Systems Office of the Legislative Coordinating Commission and published on its website on March 28, 2012.
