  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a fund transfer for 
  1.3             independent school district No. 111, Watertown-Mayer. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 111, 
  1.6   WATERTOWN-MAYER, FUND TRANSFER.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 123B.79, 
  1.8   123B.80, and 475.61, subdivision 4, on June 30, 2000, 
  1.9   independent school district No. 111, Watertown-Mayer, may 
  1.10  permanently transfer up to $400,000 of its debt redemption fund 
  1.11  to its capital account in its general fund without making a levy 
  1.12  reduction to purchase land for a school facility. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
