A bill for an act
relating to parks and trails; modifying allocation of Dakota County parks and
trails fund appropriations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION REALLOCATION.

new text begin Notwithstanding Laws 2013, chapter 137, article 3, section 4, paragraph (o), and
Laws 2015, First Special Session chapter 2, article 3, section 4, paragraph (b), Dakota
County may allocate its share of the distribution of fiscal years 2016 and 2017 funds under
Minnesota Statutes, section 85.53, subdivision 3, in accordance with the most recent
priority rankings that Dakota County has submitted to the Metropolitan Council.
