A bill for an act
relating to lawful gambling; adding a condition for leased premises; amending
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 349.18, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 349.18, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Termination of lawful gambling. new text end

new text begin If a lessor terminates an organization's
permission to conduct lawful gambling on the leased premises or if the organization
terminates the conduct of lawful gambling as a result of coercion, pressure, or unreasonable
or unlawful conduct by the lessor or its employees, the lessor shall not be able to enter into
a lease with another organization for the conduct of lawful gambling for 60 days.
