A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; providing for abandonment of public drainage
systems in the seven-county metropolitan area; amending Minnesota Statutes
2004, section 103E.811, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 103E.811, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin In the seven-county
metropolitan area, all public drainage systems are abandoned and the management, repair,
or improvement of these drainage systems shall be accomplished according to sections
103B.301 to 103B.355 or chapter 103D.
