A bill for an act
 relating to motor vehicles; amending effective date of passenger automobile
definition change; amending Laws 2008, chapter 350, article 1, section 5.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2008, chapter 350, article 1, section 5, the effective date, is amended
to read:


EFFECTIVE DATE.

Paragraph (b) and paragraph (c), clause (1), are effective the
day following final enactment and apply to any additional tax for a registration period
that starts on or after March 1, deleted text begin 2011deleted text end new text begin 2012new text end .
