A bill for an act
relating to state government; appropriating funds to the commissioner of
administration for distribution as matching grants for public television.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; PUBLIC TELEVISION MATCHING GRANTS.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of administration for matching grants for public television stations. The commissioner of
administration must consider the recommendations of the Minnesota Public Television
Association before allocating a grant under this section.
