relating to human services; appropriating money for the basic sliding fee child
care program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $71,700,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of human services to fund the basic sliding fee child care program under
Minnesota Statutes, section 119B.03, and reduce the number of eligible families on the
waiting list. Base level funding for this program shall be increased by $75,600,000 in
fiscal year 2016 and $79,500,000 in fiscal year 2017.
