A bill for an act
relating to elections; allowing noncommercial signs to be posted 46 days before
the presidential nomination primary until ten days following the presidential
nomination primary; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 211B.045.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 211B.045, is amended to read:
All noncommercial signs of any size may be posted in any number beginning new text begin 46 days
before the presidential nomination primary until ten days following the presidential
nomination primary and beginning new text end 46 days before the state primary in a state general election
year until ten days following the state general election. Municipal ordinances may regulate
the size and number of noncommercial signs at other times.
