A bill for an act
 relating to economic development; appropriating money for the Northside
Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) business incubator program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION; NEON BUSINESS INCUBATOR PROGRAM.

$150,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a
grant to the Northside Economic Opportunity Network (NEON) for a business incubator
program to provide targeted resources and services to entrepreneurs with businesses who
have potential to grow and create job opportunities for unemployed and underemployed
north Minneapolis residents.
