A bill for an act
relating to higher education; requiring the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota
State Colleges and Universities to develop a plan for timely degree completion
for certain transfer students.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

BACCALAUREATE DEGREE COMPLETION PLAN.

new text begin The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities shall
develop a plan to implement systemwide articulation agreements that lead to baccalaureate
degree completion within two years after transfer to a system university by a student
with an associate degree from a system college. The board shall report on this plan to
the legislative committees with primary jurisdiction over higher education finance and
policy by March 15, 2015.
