relating to human services; appropriating money for pharmacy and
pharmacy-related costs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; PAYER OF LAST RESORT PAYMENTS FOR
CERTAIN DUAL ELIGIBLE PHARMACY COSTS.

new text begin $570,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of human
services to cover certain pharmacy and pharmacy-related cost-sharing costs for dual
eligibles under the processes established under Executive Order No. 06-01. This funding
is available from March 9, 2006, to April 15, 2006. The commissioner shall seek federal
reimbursement for any expenditure made under this section. Any reimbursement received
for payments under this section shall be deposited into the general fund.
